Street Cat Sterilization Project
6 cats sterilized. An important first step.
AnimalCare Moldova has started a project dedicated to sterilizing street cats.
The first 6 cats have already been sterilized with the help of the Vet-Life veterinary clinic, and all costs for these procedures were covered by AnimalCare Moldova.
Through this project, we aim to help limit uncontrolled breeding and reduce the number of kittens that end up living on the streets.
Every sterilization matters. It is a concrete and responsible step that helps prevent future generations of homeless animals.
What we have achieved so far
In the first stage of the project:
- 6 street cats were sterilized;
- The procedures were carried out with the help of the Vet-Life clinic;
- All expenses were covered by AnimalCare Moldova;
- We have photos taken before and after the procedures;
- We have confirmation of payment for these sterilizations.
This is just the beginning. We want to continue the project and help more cats, depending on the funds available and our ability to organize each case responsibly.
Transparency is important to us
We want the people who support AnimalCare Moldova to clearly see the work that has been carried out.
For this first stage of the project, we are publishing:
- Photos of the 6 cats before the procedure;
- Photos taken after the procedure;
- Confirmation of payment for the sterilizations.
In this way, we can clearly show how the funds were used for this stage of the project.
Why is sterilization important?
Kittens continue to be born on the streets without a safe place to live, a reliable source of food, or access to care.
Sterilization helps prevent the uncontrolled reproduction of cats and is one of the most responsible ways to reduce the number of homeless animals over time.
We cannot change the entire situation in a single day. But we can continue step by step, one cat at a time.
Help us continue
The number of future sterilizations depends on the funds we are able to raise.
Through your donation, you help us continue the project and cover the costs of additional sterilization procedures for street cats.
Every contribution matters, regardless of the amount.
You can support the project through:
- A donation using one of the methods available on the website;
- Sharing this page;
- Sharing the project with people who want to help homeless animals.
Thank you for your support
We thank the Vet-Life clinic for the support provided in carrying out these procedures.
We also thank everyone who chooses to support the work of AnimalCare Moldova.
Every donation, every share, and every person who speaks about responsible sterilization helps us continue.
Together, we can take meaningful steps to help street cats. 💚🐾
